Andorra

For six consecutive years - from 2004 to 2009 - Andorra decided to take part in Eurovision. Their songs, mostly written in a mixture of Catalan and English, were all unsuccessful: Andorra is one of only two nations that never managed to secure a spot in the Grand Final since the introduction of the semi-final system in 2004 - the other being Slovakia - and is therefore the lowest-placed country in the all-time Eurovision ranking. For the time being financial limitations keep the country from making their return to the contest.
