Søren Torpegaard Lund (24) is the boy in the Danish pre-selection with the different song. While the others artists chose for pop, he sings a sweet jazzy song that could also have been composed in 1957.
In the meantime the very contemporary lyrics to his Lige her (‘Right here’) are a love letter to our ‘chosen family’, the friends that are like brothers and sisters to us.

The song has been co-written by Tim Schou and Martin Skriver – Tim sang in the band A friend in London in 2011, who came fifth with New tomorrow, Martin was a member of the 2016 boyband Lighthouse X, that performed Soldiers of love in the semi-final in Stockholm.

We spoke to Søren about his love for Lige her, the love for his friends, about queer kisses and much more.
